Gabriel Joita 
Sfântul Martin este sărbătorit de către țările germanice în data de 11 noiembrie. Cu această ocazie, Școala Gimnazială ”Marin Preda”, singura școală din județul Argeș cu o clasă de limba germană intensiv, organizează „Sărbătoarea Lampioanelor”.
Evenimentul este inspirat din legenda Sfântului Martin, in care spune că, pe vremea când acesta era soldat, a înâlnit un om sărman care îngheța de frig. Martin a luat sabia, și-a despicat mantia și a împărțit-o cu sărmanul ceșetor. În noaptea care a urmat a avut un vis, în care Isus avea chipul omului sărac și era îmbrăcat cu jumătatea din mantia sa. În acel moment, Martin a decis sa renunțe la armată și a devenit călugăr, iar mai târziu episcop de Tours.
Sărbătoarea din 11 noiembrie este una a dăruirii, în care copiii transmit bucuria de a împărți ce au cu aproapele lor.
Vineri, 11 noiembrie 2016, clasa a V-a A va susține o mică scenetă care prezintă viața Sfântului Martin și, împreună cu clasele a V-a B si C, va face o mică plimbare în jurul școlii cu lampioane și cântece specifice. Invităm elevii și cadrele didactice din școală, care doresc, să participe la eveniment și să ni se alăture vineri, 11 noiembrie 2016, incepand cu orele 09.30 .
